Hey guys, I'll be headin to baja california by 4wd from LA on the beginning of February. I will be sleeping in car and I'm looking for some good (and safe) places to camp for free/cheap... Please share any info about baja - weather that time of year/spots/do's and dont's/etc etc , I will be grateful Thanks
You sound like a grom with zero Mex experience. Before I give up the goods, you have to answer a few questions: How old are you? How many others are traveling with you? How far down do you plan on going? How long do you plan on staying? What type of waves are you looking for? Are you afraid of reef breaks? Answer every question honestly and completely, and I will try to guide you in the right direction. Fail to answer any of the questions, and I will banish you and your 4X4 to surfing El Segundo this winter. I have traveled Baja extensively for over 40 years, so you can trust me
Or, worse than dying in Mexico, ended up surfing Indian River Inlet Northside in Delaware. Its just a slower kind of death.
