1/29/09 – Apologies for the horrendous picture quality (tried auto and manual) – it’s early in the morning! There’s just a kiss of NE wind and pretty darn nice looking stomach-high wave coming in with a pretty nice line to it. Find your high tide spot and get on it before it decays!! Through the fog, it looked kind of fun. Peaky with some nice lines and maybe some drift.

knee nigh s. wind swell building to waist high in the afternoon. (ENJOY THE NICE WEATHER TODAY) 65-70* NO RAIN TILL LATE AFTERNOON.

Emerald Isle, NC:

1/28/09 – One foot this morning with some texture on the water surface compliments of some SW wind. There’s a front moving through that eventually may lead to some S/SW windswell by the end of the day followed by a potential glass off tomorrow morning – it’s actually blowing at a pretty good clip right now. In typical Bogue Banks form though, it looks like it will be a pretty small window of opportunity. Have a great day - pics from Bogue Inlet Pier.

Comments:   Small and choppy.  Should see building conditions throughout the day as winds increase from the SSE.  Looking like West winds for tomorrow but we'll keep you updated on that.  Could be good tomorrow if winds go NW.
