Has anybody seen any of the beaches in Northern Monmouth? I'm wondering if some of the old breaks that were ruined by beach replenishment are back?

Sorry, they are only letting local residents in the Monmouth County beach towns. Only locals can surf there now. So sad for you.

Looks very interesting however some places that were good have no access at all due to erosion. :(

at low tide they can also be called "islands" - pretty big areas of exposed sand

Low tide recon mission today from Sea Bright to Asbury. Tempted to paddle out. NO ONE was out anywhere, with the exception of one location. A lot of old groins, piers, pilings, walls, sheet piling, rocks, etc. are now exposed; beach is gone. High tide sesh would be surfing over many exposed obstacles. It's a little freaky looking with un-known sketchy bottom conditions.

We gots waves coming. Y'all be safe.

Checked some spots this afternoon. No one out, looking spooky. I saw stuff floating around in Sea Girt, beach area closed off. I bet there is still a ton of stuff out there still.

i live in manasquan, and i still havnt been able to get to the beach.iv been staying with family up north but iv been down this past weekend to cleanout my house, and only residents are allowed in.they have a military checkpoint at 3rd ave and u cant get over the bridge without a pass.i live 2 blocks in from riverside so im pretty close.the damage is too much to name.im sure others are dealing with the same mess right now,but its not looking good and i dont know when il be able to surf again, atleast in nj.i might have to take a flight to costa or something in the near future after i get back on my feet

I thought you were the guy who only surfed 4 times a year and were the best shredder on the east coast. You live in Squan and you only surf 4 times. I have a feeling it's your summer house since your near 3rd and you don't live their annually. I would love to see you surf, kook.

LOL! You are retarded. You are completely full of ****. I have been surfing for about 23 years and I've lived in a beach town my whole life. I also work and don't surf everday but I do surf more than 4 times a year, lol. How can you even be ready for a big storm. My finished basement was flooded and I lost stuff too. I'm not saying anything bad about what people lost along the coast. I'm right there with them, helping neighbors out and dropping donations off for people who got hit harder. I live here year round. I just don't like people who lie about where they are from and everything else that comes out of your mouth. Your other posts say you started surfing in 2008-2009. That doesn't really go with your latest posts that you surfed everyday as a teenager and now your an old man. It's hard to have been surfing before I was born when you just started 3 years ago. I also don't know how you grew up so fast from a teenager to a grown man in 3 years. Get a grip and stop bull****ting everyone on this forum. Just be yourself and I'm sure people will like you more. There is no need to make up stories.
