Yes, I did. But I already had my fun. I followed the cams all the way up from Folly, to WB, to OBX, to VB to MD...

Pretty fun.

 

I think WB cleaned up the next day cause it was a freaking mess when I saw it. I was able to get it on HHI and then run up to Myrtle and got it good too. Guy in the surf shop there said he has lived in MB for 6 years and that was the best swell he had ever seen there. He said he had gotten 2 barrels in like 5 years and got about 5 just that day.

 

I have a great one once I get home.

 

Someone posted this on here before, I was right near this guy in the water and saw the guy on the beach with the telescopic lens shooting.

Ahhhh, sweet Isabel.

 

It was the day of the storm before I lost power for 5 days.

 

I remember that one. I lived one block from Avalon pier. No power for almost two weeks. It looked like mortars were dropped on the beach road in Kitty Hawk. It also split the beloved Nags Head cop shop break in two. Without a doubt the best swell I have surfed.
