yall got anything good? I dont collect stuff other than broken phones and dirty pipes, but I do have a poster signed by Barton Lynch a Byrne t shirt signed by Doug Silva Zgaff, Sissurfdog, Zach619, others, what goodies you got? I am fixing to try and up my collection tonight, I will report back tomorrow with possibly the best thing I ever owned in the meantime, whats the best piece of this fine sports history you have collected?
Got an original "Tales From The Tube" comic book inside the original Surfer Magazine edition from 1971 (I think). I just wish I hadn't drew Lightening Bolts on all the surfboards in the comic strip as a kid. Stupid. Wish I kept all the fishes I've had over the years from Steve Lis and Skip Frye.
1st edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mag Signed Rick Reitveld "Sea Angel" poster circa 2000 1976 Lopez Lightning Bolt 7'6" single fin Lisa Anderson's signature on an old surf mag My ****
I have the front piece of a surfing trophy of a contest I won in 1967 in PR. One of the sponsors, India Beer Co, is defunct long time ago. And I will be as well soon....hahahahaha!!! What am I bid for it?? <grin>
I have a huge limited edition print mounted and framed of Greg Noll checking the surf on an enormous day on the North Shore standing along a cliff beside a road with absolutely enormous waves in the background. Pretty sure it was from the famed biggest day Makaha was ever surfed. Its not a commonly seen photo....in fact I did a web search for the image and came up with nothing. Greg Noll signed it Aloha 1995 with his autograph. I got this print as part of a package deal when I sold a pristine vintage Noll very rare Duke Kahanamoku signature model board I had. Should have held onto that one.
MIS I appreciate what you said yesterday, couldn't hit you back dawg, your inbox is full. As far as memorabilia, I had some old sh!t that my dad threw out, still got a couple old school boogs tho..
Yes!!! And another little Suniliarity to boot...I promise I didn't know that was the pic you actually had signed. Also, I will be contemplating the Riddle of Steel as I split and stack woode this weekend.
