Bull****... I spend a couple weeks in RI every year and view New England as far more like the south than NY/NJ. If you read my past posts, I love RI, Mass., NH and Maine... I haven't been to Vermont. And when I am there, people are kind and polite, and when they visit here, they are the same. If you are from SE NC, yankee means NY and NJ, where all semblance of respect, politeness and friendliness are gone. It is a cesspool of society, and the fact that so many from that place come here, for UNCW or whatever, sucks. You will be hard pressed to find someone, from SE NC, that disagree.

Now, for the "trustafarians"... they are a joke, but I've surfed all over, and they are everywhere. As far as the "good ol' boys", they may be fake, but at least they are nice and respectful. That's all I really care about...

There are a lot of people in the water around me and they are all catching waves and I'm not. I have to find a reason to blame it on some thing other than myself. It can't be me.

Most pople I know, when they say "Yankee", are referring to a very specific type of person, not just the state of origin. Its like Ted Cruz said about "New York" values... everyone who is not from there knows exactly what that means.

Look at that picture Metard posted and tell me that is not ridiculous. I catch plenty of waves, but this past Monday, got dropped in on at least 50% of the time...

and you know they were all yankees why exactly?
waist high wind swell with 40 people on it is no fun regardless of where you are from. I see that. I surf elsewhere.

Seems like common sense. I try really hard to not be bothered by anybody so I walk as far down the beach as necessary to be alone with the ocean. I'm able to focus a lot better on what's going on rather than worrying about maintaining position on some D bag trying to ruin my session.

They probably just take advantage of you because you come off like a scared little puss... I bet you don't say anything when they paddle around you and drop in on you. Then you go home and cry about it. fukwit

Looks like we got another racist here. Hello and all Muslims are terrorists or at least 99% **** em. I have no desire to move there so don't worry about me. Our waves our much better than the mush you surf or chop hop. If I was going to move, it would be somewhere with better waves than my current home. That would be somewhere on the west coast or more likely Kauai.

Everywhere is crowded these days... If you got dropped in on 50% of the time it's because you're a kook.
