    dont lower your hopes

i dont know if its gonna get to double overhead but ive been talkin around the surf shops around bogue and down here at eastern nc we're sure to get atleast 6-8 footers and i cant be complaining due to the slop we've been gettin most of the summer

Don't forget to eat your Wheaties and remember what our old basketball coach told us when we were rats, "Shoot within your range boys!"

    Good waves for all hopefully.
    Be strong!

plus weather people are hardly ever perfect

i know, right? look at a map, and compare which way the wind arrow is going to the beach. best bet for sw/ssw wind...drive north to nags head where they take sw straight offshore, but for around here, find your own nook/cranny.

trip OH in snc? that would be the day....head north if you have a pair.

I agree with ledzep - being stuck at wb under normal circumstances is being "stuck" at one of the greatest beaches in the country. However, for the 3 or 4 days that it is going off at wb - it is being stuck. Cuz every tom, **** and larry are headin' right for wb and every wave is going to be a Chinese Downhill...no matter how much Tony tries to straighten kooks out on wblive. It is probably going to be pretty incredible at wb on sat and sun, but i am not going to stick around to find out...you guys fight it out - I'm heading north.

sounds like a great plan, you can duke it out with every other semi-pro wanna be from Va-beach to cape look-out in un-makable surf. You'll be sittin on the beach with the rest of them.:D
