Maybe define the surf zones into:
    Long Branch
    Manasquan

which further separates the northern and southern surf zones in the county. One thing, which is hard to convey in the forecasts, is that they are never meant to be a spot specific forecast. But, rather a generalized forecast for the 10 mile or so local area.

its just semantics at that point.

How about a forecast for sandy hook? that place is so fickle and far out of the way, it would be nice to know when that place is firing

i like the idea, its always a big difference from long branch area down past belmar.

you could always just put North Monmouth Co. and South Monmouth Co. if you dont want to name a specific spot

i love how youre always adding stuff and improving the site thats what makes swellinfo the sickest!

At first glance I was in favor of this as, but after reading the thread I agree with the folks saying "leave it alone." With so much info out there it's nice when there's a chance to really use your own acquired knowledge and score waves. If you put in enough time you'll be able to look at the charts and data here and figure out how it might translate to different spots. Less is more. Leave it be.

i know major differences between my island, island beach, seaside park, the pier, chadwick, bay head and jenks, but i wouldn't want swellinfo to say...northern/southern makes more sense...got plenty enough kooks at the inlet
