Vegetation looks nice around where you are standing. Must be a nice place, Roy.
As for your displayed board, sorry, maybe it is my eyes but I cannot perceive ay asymmetry. Keep in mind, I am 64 yrs of age.
Someday, I would like to see NZ.

Asymmetry is definitely apparent... and functional. And those are some beautiful curves. I don't understand the elongated point in the tail, though. It looks like an artistic, expressionistic abstraction of a surfboard.

You're better than that, Hawky. Stop trying to stir the gnome pot.

BTW, were you surfing stateside on Saturday with your buddy?

As for the gnome: take that sperm-shaped Buick & let Randy Rarick test it out. Full report to follow.

There's more about the asmmetrical aspect here: http://www.roystuart.biz/2015/05/asymmetrical-gunproject.html

Regarding the pintail, the short answer is that it's like suspension on a car. The tail sinks under pressure, which makes the board extremely forgiving and improves the balance. It's also a very effective low drag water release arrangement.

I'm glad that you like the curves, I do too. Thanks for the encouragement a little goes a long way... two more coming up :)
