I've never seen anything like that. Look at how long it took for the lip to crash down and how high the white water was....absolutely sick. I wish there was a surfer on it so I could judge the size, but it has to be at least 30 feet. For sure bigger than ruggles was during hurricane Bill. Anyone else have any vids/pics to rival that size?
Uh...notice I said east coast. I mean the biggest wave Ever ON the EAST COAST. I know spots like jaws ect. get bigger.
I Got one pic hurricane bill saturday 8/23/09 from Point Judith RI My wife took this one on point judith-RI around 6 pm on that saturday 8/22/09.. Two crazys surfers were riding on those giants paddleing,I could see perfectly they doing duck diving and surfing..insane for me!!!!..I can say it was around 25 feet !!!What day!!!ll!!
I live in southern Maine during the summer and we did have big waves during Bill but nothing like this. Though we did have the occasional waves that would just stun everyone, nothing close to this.
