i have the foil back zip 3/2 which i don't think they make anymore, but it's decent enough especially for the price. not sure if the new chest zip ones are different material, but mine's kinda thin compared to my other 3/2. good for those in between upwelling days, but not great for most of fall.
Just purchased 5/4 a few weeks ago...Back zip... Minimal flushing...the heat liner keeps me toasty and da hood be nice....
Whats with all you old guys getting back zip 5/4's? This is more like it: Furnaces are the best line of Billabong IMO and this guys married.
I got wide shoulders and the suit fits like a glove and still maintains flexibility....I paid $160 using a discount code on wetsuite wearhouse..That being said I don't expect this suite to last past next season....
I got the 4/3 last year. It's held up well, except some of the stitching pulled out of a leg, but it's still glued so no worries. It's pretty toasty, good for a few hours in the upper 30's.
Jawn, why do you say you don't expect it to last past next season? Suit quality? That's exactly where I was looking, Wetsuit Wearhouse. I already have a 5/4, but I want a new 3/2. I was looking at this one: http://www.wetsuitwearhouse.com/page/WW/MWFUXF32
The quality is decent I'm just a firm beliver in you get what you pay for and I'm not so gentle with my winter suits....it's cold out there ain't nobodyz got timez for dat....you can get a chest zip 3/2 for less which is what I'd go for...personally I don't own a 3/2....just a ss full 2mm 4/3...5/4....2mm for water/air 60 and up
I do have an old Billabong spring that has lasted for years, I can only assume they have gotten better in quality. "assume"
for sure fug a 3/2...most others will disagree....if you need a new one of those check and see if the FRIENDS code is working over at hurley...202 ss full for 80ish....that's what I've been using the past four years
I had a 3/2 foil sealed .It was decent the only issue I had was the ankles were really tight. So tight that any water that did get in the suit would pool down there. really didnt use it much. I mostly go from a ls spring to a 4/3.Oneill and quicksilver seem to fit me better.
For God's sake, it's a suit, not a "suite" and if you go to wetsuitewearhouse.com you won't find it. Spelling CoUNTS.
