I want one to screw around on during the summer but I don't know if I should get a finless, single, or twin? What do you guys think about them?

Ok for messing around in summer slop, but definitely not the performance of a real board.

I bought a finless one for my daughter recently and it is a lot of fun. I think I may be a little bit too big to stand up on it, but she is under 130lbs and can probably stand. I have played around on insiders with it and find it faster and easier to catch waves on than a regular boogie board.

As is true with most toys bought for kids, dad will play with it just as much if not more than the kiddos.

If you go finless, you can still skim it, boogie/knee it, and use it on surfing-restricted beaches (like in OCMD). If you are nimble enough to stand on it, the possibilities for 360's boggles the mind!

    Have fun.

    Sick board

I just bought one and it arrived yesterday. I got a twin fin 54 because I figured it would be easier to ride than a finless. I didn't get the single fin because the fin is longer and I didn't want it catching on the bottom in shore break. To answer your question about taking the fins out, yes, you can but they recommend getting bodyboard leash plugs to put in the holes when the fins are out. Haven't gotten a chance to ride it yet but I will later today...so stoked! By the way, ebodyboarding.com gives free shipping with them...

Wildwood is the Hawaii of the NorthEast didnt ya know. But for real beater boards are really fun. My 14yr old cousin got one from ron jon (yeah I know) and I stole it from him and had a blast. I'm 5'10" 165 and could fairly easily ride it. He had the double fin but I don't know if that makes a difference. I wonder how it would've handled in waves like we had today though.

Super fun, the deep center channels and domed deck really help hold the line. The 58" will catch any wave esp. if your a bigger guy. But really, you just got to try one out. If your in the ocean city, md area I have 2 demos up at malibus surfshop to try. The boards are coming in end of june, early july. 10 bucks off for pre-orders. Send me an email at willeysurfboards@gmail.com if your interested.

Stupid question, but do you wax a beater up? Just got a 54" twinnie for my daughter and it seems really slick.
