Is there any surfable spots in CT? I'll be there next week and I need to feed the surf monkey

No, but you'll be an hour away from R.I.(depending on where in CT you are) and it looks like we're gonna have some swell next week.

So if you wanted to surf every state on the east coast - CT is off the list?

nope mystic is where its at. I had an epic tow sess there last year. it only goes off on the 3rd waxing moon and the wind needs to be east 5 knots.

I'm from Connecticut and live in NC now. I would drive to Long Beach, NY. Place goes off. Depending where you are in CT, LI was closer for me. RI maybe better if your further east. Isn't misquimicut in CT?

My last birthday wish was for a huge tectonic plate shift Right at the Connecticut border resulting in a 5 mile long stretch of different level breaks. Point, beach, bowl, slab, A frames, barrels, wedges, kayak rapids, Sup channel friendly- Everything for Every level of Every kind of surfcraft imaginable. RI can finally stop looking like the only DMV on the East Coast every swell and every weekend.

The - Is there waves in Connecticut Quandrum?

The shore of Connecticut has plenty of area, but is blocked by Long Island to the South and Block/Fishers Island to the East.

So head to Long Island, New Jersey and Cape Cod for any Hurricane swells.

The swells always miss Rhode Island because it is too small (hehehe...)

See how the coast of Connecticut is blocked?
