You can rent a car in town and drive to Playa Negra( great right hand reef break, Avellanes ( reef and beach breaks as well as Lol's cantina on the beach with the pig that plays in the surf), up the beach is Little Hawaii( right reef break), walk or drive over to Playa Grande and surf beach break, alway bigger there than in Tamrindo, approximatly 1 hr drive to Nosara and 45 minute drive to Marbela( stand out big wave spot, barrels galore, if interested, respond to this thread. Price varies. from $350-$650 per week depending on time of year. My friend has a unit right next door where both units can be rented at same time for additional cost.
