Hey guys I just shaped my 2nd board and since I sort of messed up the glassing on the first one I am looking for a professional glasser to do this one. The last one I talked to wanted about 230 for a 5'11'' board.... I think that is just to high so I was wondering if anyone knew a glasser that works for a good price and has great quality. Also they must be located in NJ, northern MD.

is it epoxy or PU? that seems high. Should be under 200 EASY.
Sorry no info on that coast, but yeah I agree with the pricing.

If you want a "professional" glass job in NJ, $200-$230 is NOT high for professional quality. If you want a cheap $175 glass job you'll get cheap quality... For the material costs and time that go into glassing a surfboard, $230 is bargain. When I get backed up with orders and I have to contract out for glassing I gladly pay $200+ for a quality glass job because I know how hard it is to produce a quality glass job. Just ask to see examples of the glasser's work to make sure he knows what he's doing.

$200-$230 sounds very very fair. As you should know from doing a board yourself glassing is a lot of work and it takes a long time to aquire the skill's to get that "professional" finish. The guys aint making much $$$ per hour for the skills they are providing...
Keep in mind many of these guys are doing this for a living.
I'm cheap so I do my own glassing but the quality sucks compared to what I see from the local pros..

+1 on Brandon if you are in the Central Jersey area. If you are in SNJ I would recommend Brian Wynn. Both have VERY fair prices.

Good work is not cheap and cheap work is usually not good.
