Gonna be in Nags Head this weekend and I swear the forecast keeps changing by the hour. First time I looked for Sat afternoon, it was 4-6 green, then it went to 2-3 blue, now it's 2-3 red. Guess I'll just walk out to the beach when I get there. HA

No way, dude !! Don't go on the beach unless the forecast is promising.

Swell predictors know more than you do.

You could be looking at decent waves but if the forecast says it's no good, well, then it no good.

You know what it is that I be sayin'?

Stay away from Jennette's Pier, that's mine.

Please let us know where you eat and stay.

Dude, too bad Teen night isn't happening at The Pit, yet. Nothing like PBR, quesadillas and illegal girls from Richmond, VA. Be careful though, there may be gangs mulling around The Pit and 7-11's. And for God's sake stay on 158/168 and don't veer off to Elizabeth City, they got gangs there too.

Yo, stop in Philly and bring a few bundles to sell down there. You probably could get $40 down there for a dime of the fire. Hang out in front of the 7-11 in Kitty Hawk. Watch out for competing gang members.

Prob just hit nags pier, its right in front of where I am staying. I do like the Pit Wrap and I also like Outer Banks Brewing Co. I'll stay away from the gangs, if I do run into any, i'll tell them I am friends with Riley or I will threaten them with drug testing

You can't go to the Nags Head Pier....much too dangerous. I used to drink beer and "fish" from that pier.

What you ain't headed down south?

And you think I'm messing around aboot dangerous gangs. Look it up. Them simple folks down there think they have some kind of gang and drug scourge. Like this cop who used to be on here, "Flying Line," or something, acted like the OBX was like Wilmington, DE or something. Ha, them people down there are like 10 years behind the rest of us.

When I lived there in 2001-2004, they had just discovered crack.

Now, a few years ago, they discovered heroin. As that cop told me two years ago, We(OBX) have a HUGE heroin problem," as he speaks to someone from the dope capital of America - New Jersey.

Man, I knew you'd mention The OBX Brewing Station. Go to Mako Mikes or Slammin Sammies. That's where the cool kids go.

Hey, have youse guys noticed the huge decrease in The Infamous OBX stickers?

Tell Judge Barnes to keep drinking and driving. Bring back The Coastland Times for me, ok.

Only to be replaced by SOBX.

Refers to the barrier islands along North Carolina's southern coast. Including, but not limited to, Atlantic Beach, Salter Path, Indian Beach, and Emerald Isle. In some cases the mainland towns are considered part of the SOBX, including Morehead City, Beaufort, and Cedar Point.

    Yeah, but they ain't OBX.

    Why do they do this?

    Heck, I don't even consider them freaky-dialect-speaking Ocracrokers, OBX'ers.

It all stops at Hatteras Village to me, and up in Corolla on the north. Like them Southern VA Beach-types could start a "NOBX" sticker campaign. And that's just wrong.

Thanks for your attention to this matter, Fungus.

This tread has been very informative. All this time, I thought that "Nags Head" was spouse-borne fellatio.

There is even an IBX sticker. Inner Banks. The term "Inner Banks" is a recent construct on the part of developers and the tourism industry to rebrand the mostly agrarian coastal plain as a more attractive region for visitors and retirees.

Where there is money to be made expect a sticker.

my friends kid hooked up with a porker from ocracoke (seems he had confidence issues).
the family went there, sold the house, bagged her and placed her at the curb, and removed him from
    north carolina.

this was one whale NOT coming home for xmas.

Is that crazy dude who walks around with sharpie markers talking to himself still around down there?

Tortugas lie has some good food mmmm

If you can find my buddies picture in the pit I'll give you 20 bucks. He had just bought a greenish fish.

And now on a more serious note, I hadn't looked at the forecast but like someone else said if N winds are the issue head south! Enjoy the trip mang
