Hey, Where is the best place to surf in Ocean City??? Is there a jeddi, pier, or where is a good spot???? I heard it breaks really close to shore there, does it break farther out when the waves are big??? WHat about any other maryland cities to surf THanks guys, looking forward to Hurricane Bill surf!!! Just moved up here from Florida and don't know anything about the waves around here. Love it up here though so appreciate any advice or guidance.
this thread was moved from the northeast forum to the mid atlantic. That is where we place Maryland on Swellinfo. Just about anywhere in OC can be good, depending on sand bars... But long period hurricane swell may be a different story. If it is indeed very big, there will likely be a lot of closeouts, so other areas may be a better call.

awesome man...bring a pen and paper too so you can take notes. Orange is my favorite flavor gatorade if you don't mind supplying those for me so I can rip even harder. I'll expect lunch too. Bring a towel so you don't have to sit in the sand
Where in OC/DE do people think there will be the best chance of this swell being groomed out into ridable surf? Im thinking NIRI due to the inlet and deeper water. I'm not asking for anyones "secret spot" in OC, just wondering where the guys who know think will be more likely to turn out somethin good. P.S. i know everyone is gonna say Shoals but I dont have a boat and am really just looking to get some nice shots of people rippin on saturday if it really turns out to be in the range of DOH.
