That's exactly who I was wondering about. Man I remember seeing a pic of him doing a huge revo as a kid and that pretty much sealed my fate. Then saw pics of him recently vis social media and was pumped to know he's still an underground charger.

Also wonder if Christian Fletcher's crazy a$$ is out...

I grew up body surfing about 1 or 2 from there. On days like this, there was no way I'd go in the water. My brother, on the other hand, used to body surf and boogie board those waves!!!

Hahahaha I was hoping someone would find that weird. But I do like the guy in all honesty...a local Tahitian sponger broke his back at Chopes yesterday, Tahurai(sp???) Henry, and JOB gave him props...I like when pros from each side bridge the gap, classy.

 

Medina is out there. He's only taking the little insiders though.

 

That sh*t is unreal, and weird how it's so much bigger than the other spots around it.

 

Yeah, it's a man made freak show. Its 12-15 all around it supposedly, but 30, yeah that is one of the biggest claims I have ever heard over there about a summer tropical storm swell. Can't wait to see the video from today. It supposed to stay in the 6-8 foot range through the whole weekend I think. Good luck Socal lifeguards. Nothing like a Holiday weekend sucking thousands of people out to sea while they try and squad to pee in the shallows.

 

A Newport Beach lifeguard died at the Wedge a month or so ago during a rescue.

It's amazing to watch, would love to see the footage. I checked the cam for a little bit but had to get work done so I shut it down, or else I wouldn't get anything done HAHA
