Went over there on Friday to tool around on this new board and saw someone about to make the paddle from WB when I was leaving. Paddle the inlet for thigh high onshore? Really? Hope whoever that was got some exercise

Yeah... Awesome pics man. I usually stay away from masonboro on the really good days because it's almost just as crowded as WB. There are some spots on WB that are even less crowded than masonboro on those days. I tend to go over to mase on those perfectly O.K. days... Sometimes you can get some nice waves all to yourself over there
I surfed on the north side on Johnny Mercer's Sunday night in WB, and it was higher tide with strong offshore winds but chest-head high so the waves were a little fun but still rippable. suddenly everyone got out of the water and I had a 45minute solo session and the waves turned on. It got to be solid consistent head high sets where i'd take off on a right and literally be able to do 5 off the top turns, or go on a steep left and get barreled. One of the most memorable sessions in a looooongg time and it was in WB!! go figure!
