I mean, for Rhode Island in general it's pretty limited -- there's an AMAZING expensive Italian place in Newport, Lucia (they don't really advertise as "vegan friendly" BUT basically 2/3rds of the kitchen staff are vegans from Naples so it is LEGIT AS ****). I wish Flat Waves was good (since they support SI) but unfortunately their food.. well... the sno cones/shaved ice is good. Other than that for Newport there's basically a crunchy hippie sandwich place, the super fancy places where you're spending $100/person on dinner so the kitchen doesn't mind whipping up something off-menu (i.e. Clark Cooke house)), and the Green Grocer. In the rest of the state, your good vegan food options are basically to go to Providence (or Garden Grill in Pawtucket). Providence is the ****.
