Surfing Lisbon, Portugal

    Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences of surfing Lisbon, Portugal? I think I might be heading there in March. Good time to go?

    never been to Portugal,but definitely seened plenty of epic footage.the whole coast from spain to Portugal has points,reefs,big waves,etc.not too crowded too.best season to go is American winter time.all the storms that give us surf go offshore and send great waves to Europe.

    Some friends of mine went there, said there was a lot of size! They loved it.

    I went nearly ten years back in a December, best trip of my life! Go to Peniche. it is were supertubos and many other breaks are. It is a peninsula so there is a wave somewhere most days, be careful of urchins
