Anyone have or heard about the Xcel Xflex X-Zip 4/3mm? Interested on hearing some reviews on this wetsuit.

    Thanks

hey I wear this suit and It's amazing. It was my intention to buy a drylock but after trying one on at the shop my hands turned purple. The xflex xzip just felt right and was over $100 cheaper. If I wear my thermal bamboo hooded vest underneath it is warm enough to wear all winter in vb / obx. This suit replaced my 4 year old xcel infinity chest zip. Great wetsuits.

Nice man thanks for the quick reply! I'm thinking about getting one for the early spring, late fall and winter in NJ.

    One Question:
What do you think the temperature range is for the 4/3mm?

well my 3/2 is short sleeve so if it's too cold for that (60ish?) I wear it. I think my coldest session last winter was 37F water 20F something air and I lasted about 2 hours until my feet started going numb. That was the 4/3 , xcel hooded vest, 5mil gloves and boots. I don't personally feel the need for a 5/4 in vb but.... wait for it.... I'm ....

    HOT BLOODED

    CHECK IT AND SEE...

    (so about 40-60F)

I have the xcel 4/3 x-zip and have worn it most of this winter (in NJ), with a detached hood. With water temps around 42 the only times I have used the 5/4 was on really windy days when the wind chill was in the 20's and 30's. Water temp wise this year is a dream.
